LUMINOR – 35

Paclitaxel-eluting peripheral dilation balloon catheter

Paclitaxel-eluting balloon, designed for the percutaneous transluminal angioplasty of large arteries.

Characteristics

  • Proprietary, patented coating technology (TransferTech): drip dosage using nanotechnology, providing a homogeneous Paclitaxel coating in multiple layers (3 µg/mm2). This technology improves clinical efficiency, optimising the coating’s properties and the device’s functionality.
  • Microcrystalline coating: the drug is absorbed faster, and its long-term effectiveness is greater.
  • Double lumen tube: excellent pushability and navigability. Balanced transition of force. Anti-kinking.
  • Exceptional cross profile: 6 foldable and 3 refoldable wings, in order to facilitate its extraction through the sheath.
  • Short deflation time.
  • Balloons up to 150 mm of length.
  • Proprietary hydrophilic coating (Hydrax) to improve traceability.
