“Oscor” Adelante SafeSheath® Ultra Lite is a family of introducers designed with a valve that allows the reduction of insertion force during procedures.

It offers exceptional insertion, a smooth transition on introduction and is highly twist resistant.

Characteristics

  • Membrane specially designed to reduce force on the insertion and withdrawal of ports and central venous catheters.
  • Ergonomic peel away design with block via a snap-locking dilator connector to facilitate handling.
  • The transition between the dilator and the introducer, and the introducer and the guidewire is smooth, giving it an exceptional ease of insertion.
  • Decreases risk of blood loss and embolism.
  • It has a hydrophobic coating with an extruded score line that facilitates the movement of the device in the patient.
  • It is colour coded in relation to size (French).
  • Available with a standard introducer length of 13 cm and dilator of 18 cm, with diameter sizes from 5 to 16.5F.
  • Latex-free.
