Uresil Ulti-flo™ drainage catheter with locking pigtail

Category:

Description

Drainage catheter with AFA aspiration and flush adapter for washing, available in Ureflex® -Soft standard material, with kink-resistance, large-calibre hub and a leak-resistant locking mechanism.

Characteristics

  • Increased flow
  • Eliminates restriction of flow caused by conventional connectors and adaptors, increasing the lumen by 25%
  • Provides total, non-restrictive light in the drainage tube when combined with the Uresil Tru-Close® by Gravity (TC600) or Uresil Tru-Close® by Suction (series TCS) drainage bags
  • AFA Aspiration / wash adapter
  • Convenient way to aspire / carry out washing during the catheter's maintenance
  • Self-sealed, syringe-activated valve, for greater security
  • Ease of insertion
  • Reinforced tip to help prevent the catheter from bending during insertion
  • Comfort for the patient
  • The smooth Ureflex catheter material is designed to provide greater comfort for the patient
  • Permeability
  • Its bigger lumen reduces risk of occlusion during drainage of very viscous fluids and those with tissue particles
  • The catheter's exceptional material provides inherent resistance in the column and higher memory for quicker kink recovery
  • The thin-walled design with large bevelled drainage holes and the large diameter hub result in excellent flows
  • Its patented blocking mechanism is leak-resistant and provides secure fixing of the pigtail
  • The smooth and lubricated surface of the catheter's interior wall can help reduce incrustation and maintain permeability

Specifications

  • Includes catheter, metal cannula, trocar, rigid cannula, tube adaptor with large interior diameter, syringe connector and aspiration adaptor.
