RFmedical MRI-Nitinol

Interstitial electrode for soft tissue radiofrequency thermal ablation.

Characteristics

Available in two reference types:

1. REFERENCE: JET XXXX (Y) Ni

  • Straight needle (without hooks).
  • Flexible handle possibility (B).
  • Internal cooling and external perfusion, 1% perfused to the tissue.
  • Nitinol Needle, MRI-compatible.
  • Extra long 5 m cable so that the generator is outside the room.
  • Sharp point to facilitate tissue penetration.
  • Diameters of 17G (1.5 mm) 15G (1.8 mm) and 14G (2.0 mm)
  • Lengths 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm and 25 cm.
  • Active tips 0.5 cm, 1.0 cm, 2.0 cm, 2.5 cm, 3.0 cm, 3.5 and 4.0 cm.
  • Pre-assembled hydraulic lines.
  • Internal temperature sensor to monitor the temperature at the electrode tip.
  • Automatic control of the output power (AUTO mode) and of internal cooling that prevents tissue around the exposed point from charring.
  • RF Medical electrode power by radiofrequency up to 200 W with resistance of 50Ω, measured between the electrode and the dispersion plates.
  • Excellent ultrasound and CT visibility.

2. REFERENCE:  VCT XXXX BNi

  • Straight needle (without hooks).
  • Flexible handle (B).
